The Italtechnic construction bureau prepared Ferrari's newest model, the "550 Maranelo" for the coming contest in Le Mans. In this famous race which lasts 24 hours, Italtechnic will show "550 Milenio" developed from "Maranelo". The car belongs to the FIA GT group and will be equipped with a V12 engine, which reaches 585 hp at 6250 rpm and maximum torque of 750 N/m at 4700 rpm. It will have a six speed sequential gearbox. The Ferrari 550 Milenio weights 1100kg and costs 1.150.000 dem. ("Auto Svet" no.39, 10.4.2000.) |
